Terms of service

These terms apply to Shopify merchants who install Affilagent ("you") and to the service provided by mcstech, llc ("we", "us"). By installing or using Affilagent you agree to them. Partners who join a merchant's program also agree to that merchant's own program terms.

1. The service

Affilagent lets you run an affiliate program for your Shopify store: tracking referrals, calculating commissions, screening partners and AI agents, and helping you pay them. Features vary by plan and may change as we improve the product.

2. Plans and billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly through Shopify. Your plan's price is shown before you approve it.
• Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. If you uninstall during the trial, you are not charged.
• Shopify handles charges, refunds and taxes on app subscriptions under its own terms.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice in the app. Changes apply from your next billing cycle.

3. Your program, your responsibility

• You set the commission rates, terms and rules of your program, and you decide which partners and agents to approve.
• You are responsible for paying commissions you approve, and for complying with laws that apply to your program, including advertising disclosure, tax reporting and consumer protection rules.
• Affilagent's fraud flags and claims checks are aids, not guarantees. Review flagged items before you pay.

4. Payouts

Payouts are sent from your own PayPal account using credentials you provide, or paid by you outside the app. We never hold or transmit your funds. You are responsible for the payout amounts you approve and for any fees your payment provider charges.

5. AI agents

If you allow AI agents to join, each one must be owned by a verified partner, and commissions are credited to that partner. You can pause or revoke any agent at any time. AI features may make mistakes, so keep human review on decisions that matter.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Affilagent to break the law, to make false or misleading claims about products, to send spam, or to interfere with the service or other merchants. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Data

You keep ownership of your store's data. We process it to provide the service as described in our privacy policy, and we delete it after you uninstall as that policy describes.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Affilagent available and accurate, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We may update or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of changes that materially affect you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or commissions paid or unpaid, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Ending the service

You can stop using Affilagent at any time by uninstalling it. We may end the service for you with notice, or right away if you breach these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
